Frequently asked questions
Buying, downloading and using Fynbos Desk products.
How do I get my product after paying?
Checkout is handled by Gumroad. As soon as your order goes through, Gumroad shows your download and emails you a receipt with the link. Everything is digital; nothing is posted.
What do I need to use the teacher planners?
A free Google account and Google Sheets in a web browser on a computer or laptop. You make your own copy of the planner, and it lives in your own Google Drive. The planners haven't been tested in the Google Sheets phone or tablet app, Excel or Numbers.
Where do the 2027 dates come from?
The South African dates follow Government Gazette No. 52178 (25 February 2025). The Australia & NZ dates come from each state, territory and New Zealand government's published school calendar and public-holiday list. Dates can be edited, so if your school uses different dates (for example an independent school), type your own and everything updates.
Is the SA planner available in Afrikaans?
Yes. Choose English or Afrikaans on the Settings tab and the headings and labels switch. Tab names stay in English.
Is there a discount?
The 2027 Teacher Planner Australia & NZ has a launch offer: enter code LAUNCH20 at Gumroad checkout for 20% off. The South Africa 2027 School Calendar is free (pay what you want).
Do you see my learners' names or marks?
No. Your copy of the planner lives in your own Google Drive, and nothing you type is sent to us. Please don't share your sheet publicly or with "anyone with the link".
Can I share the planner with colleagues?
Each purchase is for one person's own use. Please don't resell or pass on the files; colleagues can get their own copy from the product page.
