SA Teacher Planner 2027 (Google Sheets)

Digital download only; nothing is posted. You need a free Google account.

How it works

  1. Make your own copy in Google Sheets. You need a free Google account.
  2. On Settings, choose English or Afrikaans and type your name and school. The 2027 term dates (Government Gazette No. 52178) are already there. At an independent school, or if dates change, type your own dates and everything updates.
  3. Type your timetable once. Use Monday to Friday, or a numbered cycle of 5 to 10 days (for example a 6- or 7-day cycle). The numbered cycle skips weekends and holidays.
  4. Plan your lessons week by week. Every period is already filled in from your timetable, and public holidays, the 26 April school holiday and admin days are blocked out.
